”Arashiyama” in midsummer is also beautiful (Kyoto)

Kyoto

Arashiyama is famous for its autumn leaves season. However, in summer, with Mt. Hiei floating across the big blue sky, this view of the Ooi River has a different quality. The area around the Togetsu Bridge is crowded with people, but if you walk upstream for a while, you can feel the coolness in the shade of the trees.

Since you have come all this way, you should also visit Horin-ji Temple.Crossing the Togetsu Bridge, there is a back entrance to Horin-ji Temple between Togetsu-tei Onsen Ryokan(Japanese-style Hotel) and Horan-do Store.A narrow stairway at the back entrance leads to the approach to the temple.

Hiei can be seen.
