If you walk west from the South Big Gate of Todai-ji Temple for about 10 minutes, you will reach Yoshiki-en Garden.
From the detached tea house, you can look out over the moss garden, which has a lot of depth.Personally, I think this is the best view of Yoshiki-en Garden.Unfortunately, however, the detached teahouse can only be entered by people who have made a time-based reservation (for a fee).
However, anyone can view the detached teahouse from the moss garden. The view of the tea room at the back of the garden is also beautiful.It seems that groundwater from the same water system as Tobihino flows through this garden too.That’s why the moss grows.
