Yukito Murasaki (Tour Guide)

I currently work in the IT industry, but I used to run a travel agency. During my time in the travel industry, I served as a tour guide on numerous trips both domestically and internationally.

Nowadays, whenever I have a free moment, I enjoy exploring different towns and cities. These range from historic cities like Kyoto and Nara to smaller towns in the countryside that aren’t frequented by many tourists. Through this website, I’d like to share my favorite spots with foreign visitors to Japan. There is still so much of Japan’s charm to discover that you won’t find on the standard “Golden Route.” I hope you’ll find this website helpful as you plan your trip to Japan.

Residence: Osaka Prefecture
Hobbies: Day trips, Reading
Sports experience: Baseball, Golf, Boxing
Interests: Japanese gardens, Zen culture, Wagashi(traditional Japanese sweets), Japanese cuisine, Sake.

About Our Business

I can offer the following tours to visitors to Japan.

Historical and Cultural Walking Tours of Regional Cities

Japan is dotted with many charming regional cities. For guests visiting Japan for the second time—after having already experienced the “Golden Route” of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka—we’d like to introduce you to regional towns where you can truly immerse yourself in Japan’s history and culture. Of course, we also offer the classic Kyoto tour. In Kyoto, we’ll guide you through the “quiet side of Kyoto” and the “authentic Kyoto” that few tourists get to experience.

Sake Brewery Tour

The Kansai region is home to famous sake-brewing districts like the Nada Go-go and Fushimi, where breweries are clustered together. Surprisingly, there are also plenty of historic breweries. Let me take you on a tour of a brewery in a rural town.

Osaka’s Super-Cheap “Bar Hopping” Tour

Osaka is home to plenty of affordable and delicious bars. However, the areas where these bars cluster tend to be filled with Japanese customers, the menus are in Japanese, and it’s hard to tell what ingredients are being served—making it a bit daunting for foreigners to step inside. I’d like to introduce you to Osaka’s ultra-cheap bar district, a place you’ve probably wanted to visit but haven’t quite been able to.

We can also take you to other places you’d like to visit.
